Full Stack Developer (Node.js / Angular)

Responsibilities

• You will work directly with the Lead Architect on a mature, high-performance SaaS platform serving the financial services industry
• Modern Frontend: Develop responsive, high-performance interfaces using Angular v20+
• You will leverage the latest features (Signals, Standalone Components, Zoneless Architecture) alongside AG Grid Enterprise and Angular Material
• Backend Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express) and TypeScript
• You will handle complex business logic, third-party integrations and background data processing
• AI Integration: Help design and implement AI-driven features (e.g., intelligent document parsing, automated workflows) using modern LLM APIs
• Database Management: Write efficient queries and manage data integrity in PostgreSQL using Sequelize ORM
• System Maintenance: Monitor background workers, troubleshoot failed jobs, and debug production issues

Skills

• Must-Have Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Frontend: Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript
  • Backend: Solid experience with Node.js
  • Database: Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and understanding of basic SQL concepts (joins, indexes, transactions)
  • Compliance:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be located in the DFW area (On-site/Hybrid availability)
  • Must be able to pass a criminal and financial background check
• "Huge Plus" Qualifications
  • AI Development: Experience integrating LLMs (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) into application workflows
  • Background Queues: Experience with Redis or job orchestration
  • Real-Time Data: Familiarity with Server-Sent Events (SSE) or WebSockets
  • Security: Understanding of encryption, XSS prevention, and OWASP best practices
  • Mentorship: You will work directly with the system architect and learn advanced patterns like Child Process orchestration, Application-Level Encryption, and AI implementation
