Senior Back End Software Engineer (Node.JS)

Responsibilities

• Design high-scale and low-latency components to support our growth
• Develop robust extensions that will be used by our largest clients, allowing them to start using our new products seamlessly
• Improve our current architecture and components to allow faster onboarding of merchants
• Research significant e-commerce platforms to create and improve our merchant's experience

Skills

• Expertise in server-side development using NodeJS, ORMs, and relational databases
• Strong experience architecting and building distributed systems and microservices
• Experience with Node.JS, GraphQL, and other web technologies for building web apps and APIs
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large-scale environment with multiple modern programming and database querying languages
• Great communication skills
• Self-driven and solutions-oriented, able to collaborate cross-team in a globally distributed organization
• Python is a plus
