Software Engineer - Node.js JavaScript 🏆

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable healthcare IT solutions
Ensure enterprise platforms operate at high performance, reliability, and scalability
Create and implement APIs and integrations for seamless data interchange with EHRs, healthcare platforms, and third-party applications
Employ programming best practices in a HIPAA-compliant framework utilizing data encryption and modern cybersecurity measures
Collaborate closely with the engineering team lead and fellow Software Engineers to define and execute the technology roadmap

Skills:

4-5+ years of experience in enterprise software development, system design, and architecture
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline; or equivalent experience
Proficiency in modern programming languages, particularly JavaScript (Node.js/React.js/Express.js/Fastify)
Extensive knowledge of database design (PostgreSQL) and best practices in data engineering
Proven experience collaborating within software teams using GitFlow workflows with multiple developers
Designing, constructing, and managing robust ETL processes
Practical experience with modern data warehousing solutions such as Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts including star/snowflake schema, data modeling, and OLAP/OLTP
Profound understanding of API development, healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7), and EHR/EMR system integrations
Experience working with contemporary DevOps methodologies such as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
Strong analytical abilities and adaptability to fast-paced, agile environments
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance in healthcare IT
Capability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection
