Node.js Developer

Responsibilities

This unique combination will allow you to contribute effectively to both coding and the management of project timelines, resources, and deliverables
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Node.js
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Design and implement RESTful APIs for various applications
Manage databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Lead small development teams or modules using project management skills
Use CAPM principles to assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring
Ensure adherence to project schedules and communicate updates to stakeholders
Work within Agile or Scrum development frameworks
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Implement security and data protection measures

Proven experience as a Node.js Developer (2+ years of relevant work experience)
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript is a plus
Experience with Express.js, Nest.js, or other frameworks
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and WebSockets
Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
CAPM certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) or equivalent project management knowledge
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Solid understanding of version control tools like Git
