Node.js Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Create logical and functional software code in a variety of languages.
  • Must understand and articulate the benefits and risks associated with different coding languages in different functional environments.
  • React to problems and correct the program as necessary.
  • Work with the development team and production support team to ensure the applications are working as expected.
  • Work with the project manager and technical lead to provide updates and progress on development projects.
  • Participate in architecture enhancements by supporting enterprise and maintenance releases.
  • Engage with external team members, business owners to explain the existing and new applications or functionalities.
  • Maintain and assist in documenting processes to support other development efforts.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or any other relevant discipline is required.
  • At least minimum 3 years of software development experience is required.
  • Must have experience with JavaScript, J2EE, Core Java development and server-side programming.
  • Experience with Spring/SpringBoot, Spring Data and JAXB.
  • Experience with API development and tools, like Swagger.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services experience (Lambda, Elasticache, AmazonMQ, S3, Cloud Watch, etc.).
  • Experience with Jira, Git/Github/Gitlab, Rest, SOAP, FHIR, XML, XSLT and JSON.
  • Experience with NoSQL db (preferably mongo), Fortify, SonarQube and Jenkins.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
  • Experience with the VA/DoD.
  • Experience with McAfee Web Gateway, Mulesoft, Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Agile methodology is a plus.
