Sr. Node.js / TypeScript Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization - Must be local to Bay Area
• We are looking for a Node.js / TypeScript Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern backend architectures, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines, working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience building scalable microservices & REST APIs
• Experience with Jest for unit testing
• Experience with BDD testing (Mockito)
• Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with Git version control
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub)
• Understanding of distributed systems and design patterns

Skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience building scalable microservices & REST APIs
• Experience with Jest for unit testing
• Experience with BDD testing (Mockito)
• Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with Git version control
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub)
• Strong knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB preferred)
• Understanding of distributed systems and design patterns

• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience working with Product, Business, and Automation teams.
