Sr Node Js Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and high-performance APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient data exchange.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements, design data models, and establish API endpoints.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to secure API endpoints.
• Optimize APIs for performance, responsiveness, and fault tolerance.
• Create documentation for APIs, including endpoints, request/response structures, and usage guidelines.
• Debug and resolve API-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for API development.
• Integrate APIs into web and mobile applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
• Write unit tests to ensure API reliability.

Skills:

• Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles.
• Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks such as Express.js.
• Experience with database systems (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) in a Node.js environment.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
