Node JS Architect
Responsibilities
- As a key technical leader you will drive the design of microservices mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge applications.
- This role requires deep expertise in Node.js system architecture cloud platforms and high-performance applications.
- Design implement and optimize microservices architecture with event-driven systems.
- Lead high-level technical discussions setting coding standards and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams (frontend DevOps product managers) to align business needs with technical execution.
- Optimize databases for high availability and performance (PostgreSQL MySQL).
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Implement and enforce security best practices authentication (OAuth JWT) and data protection strategies.
- Conduct code reviews mentor junior and mid-level developers and drive a culture of excellence.
- Monitor application performance conduct root-cause analysis and implement optimizations for scalability and resilience.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends bringing innovation to the team.
Skills
- More than 15 years of software development experience with at least 8 years in Node.js and backend development.
- Expert in JavaScript and TypeScript with deep knowledge of asynchronous programming event loops and design patterns.
- Strong experience in building and scaling microservices and distributed systems.
- Proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL MySQL).
- Hands-on experience with message brokers (Pulsar Kafka).
- Expertise in containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda) is a plus.
- Proficiency in automated testing (unit integration end-to-end) using Mocha or similar frameworks.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience leading development teams.
- Ability to drive architectural decisions and align business goals with technical solutions.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog).
- Exposure to WMS Systems Mobile Applications Warehouse Automation.

- 💼 The annual salary for this position is between $140K - $155K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
