Node.js Engineer

Responsibilities

  • You’ll step into a fully remote role as a Node.js Engineer building high-traffic backend services and APIs that power live fundraising events across the country
  • There’s no fluff here—just meaningful work, production-scale challenges, and a chance to write clean, scalable code that actually matters
  • You’ll work within a collaborative product engineering team shipping frequently, iterating fast, and modernizing core systems
  • Build and maintain backend services in Node.js that scale nationwide
  • Collaborate across product and engineering to ship real features, fast
  • Participate in service architecture and data design
  • Contribute to API design, unit testing, and documentation
  • Work with teammates to continuously improve code quality and reliability

Skills

  • Hands-on production experience with Node.js
  • Familiarity with React, PHP, MySQL/Postgres, NoSQL (Mongo/Redis/etc.)
  • Clear understanding of asynchronous workflows and microservice patterns
  • Strong grasp of RESTful design and distributed systems
  • Prior experience in agile team environments
  • CS degree or equivalent work experience
