React/Node.js Developer

RogueThink is seeking a skilled React/Node.js Developer to join our innovative team. This position is fully remote; however, candidates must reside in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) area to facilitate occasional in-person meetings and collaboration with local teams. As a React/Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring that they are built to the highest standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, contributing to the overall success of our projects. In this role, you will write clean, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices. You will also participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Troubleshooting and debugging issues will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you work to optimize application performance. Additionally, you will attend virtual meetings and occasional in-person sessions in the DMV area to collaborate effectively with your team. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React and/or Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance.
  • Attend virtual meetings and occasional in-person sessions in the DMV area.

Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in web development.
  • Recent hands-on experience with React and/or Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and version control (Git).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Must reside in the DMV area and be available for occasional on-site meetings.
